Dining in Langkawi

Dining in Langkawi

This Indian food restaurant is located next to Teratai Foot Massage.
There are a chef specialized in curry and a chef of nahn and the chapati respectively.
Curry spices are imported from India.
Set menu looks not much in quantity, but when you try this, it’s guaranteed that it is more than you think! And of course it’s delicious!
In addition to nahn and chapatti, Indian Pizzas are also recommended. (Great with curry!) Chef’s recommendation is prawn golden fry.

This café is located near Under Water World.
With its name, this cafe is surrounded by greens. Friendly staffs serve you breakfast, lunch and dinner. You must try pizzas here!
Toppings can be requested to suit your taste. (The picture above is Pizza Diabolo). German owner Tania recommends her homemade yummy bread, and I so agree!
Start your day with warm homemade bread made by German owner, Tania! (Fresh from the oven every morning!)
Or you can choose other menu options like home made yogurt and my favorite ‘Farmer's Choice’.
Rich drink menu will also satisfy your thirst from the heat.

Shark Fin (Bak Kut Teh)

Shark Fin (Bak Kut Teh)Shark Fin (Bak Kut Teh)
Bak Kut Teh is a local pork rib soup, rich in garlic and Chinese medicinal spices.
It's not easy to get pork in Langkawi so this means something!
Besides its famous Bak Kut Teh, Chinese Dumplings are worth trying.
As this place is very popular and serves limited amount, drop in early dinner time like 7pm.
  • Open : 18:00pm-1:00am

Roti Canai

Roti CanaiRoti Canai
A small shop just before the last main T-junction on the way to Datai and Andaman Hotels.
There are many roti canai shops on the island but this one I believe is best of the best!
Choose Roti with egg, cheese, or sausage etc.
The sauce that comes with is so good too.
This cool 'roti man' received a gold medal at Malaysian Food Competition (he can speak English too). ……However we are unable to find out where he has moved to, so please let us know if you are lucky to find this!
